Levy Court to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Go Pink

(DOVER) - - Levy Court will recognize Breast Cancer Awareness month with the annual Go Pink campaign. Kent County employees Amy Minner, Christina Morton, and Bonnie Voshell are currently accepting orders for Go Pink t-shirts and polo shirts for men and women. Shirts should be worn every Friday during the month of October to support the fight against breast cancer.

“Amy, Christina, and Bonnie have adopted Go Pink as a cause that all of Kent County should support,” said Commissioner P. Brooks Banta. “They are commended for their continued efforts.”

The deadline for ordering shirts is September 7. Shirts can be ordered at the Planning Services and Code Enforcement and Building Inspections service counter. Adult t-shirts are $10.00 each and polo shirts are $15.00. Checks should be made out to Bayhealth Foundation. All proceeds will be divided equally between the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, Breast Screening and Education program. For more information on Go Pink please contact (302) 744-2445.
